ALA in Alaska Honored with National Diversity Award
Alaska received the 2010 Bernard Gregory Award for Cultural Diversity for its contribution to effective diversity practices. The national ALA presented the award during its annual conference in Tampa, Florida on June 11th.

Alaska’s air quality scored mixed grades in the American Lung Association’s eleventh annual State of the Air Report, released April 28, 2010. Anchorage was designated the fourth cleanest U.S. city for year-round particle pollution.
