Clean Air Challenge Registration Open
A great Alaska tradition continues with the 25th anniversary of the Clean Air Challenge, the American Lung Association in Alaska’s bike ride on May 8 and 9, 2010. REGISTER TODAY!
The Clean Air Challenge is a bike ride for the whole family. With two separate treks to choose from, you can feel confident that you can ride your road bike, mountain bike, recumbent or tandem and make it to the end.
You can choose the 60 mile one day trek, from Houston to Talkeetna. Or, you can decide to do the whole 120 mile trek from Houston to Talkeetna and back. Spend the night in the beautiful Talkeetna Alaskan Lodge, relax, spend time with friends and other trekkers, enjoy a wonderful dinner, get a good night's rest and then hit the road in the morning.
It's so much more than a bike ride...
It’s a vital fundraiser for ALAA programs and a way for many to honor those that have lost, fought or won the battle with lung disease.
The Clean Air Challenge requires participants to raise a minimum of $350 for the 60 mile ride and $475 for the 120 mile ride. Resources are available for participants to help make fundraising fun and easy.
